The most unforgettable event in my life

The journey that I will never forget is last summer vacation. My sister and I went to France to visit my aunt. I planned the schedule where we wanted to visit in there in advance.

I was excited when I arrived in France. At first, seeing that I couldn’t understand French, I had no way to communicate with people. Then my aunt taught me some basic French and easy conversations. I think French is more complex than English. Sometimes I pronounced them incorrectly, it turned out that what I said couldn’t be understand by the French and misunderstand the meaning. It was funny.

Louvre, Palace of Versailles, Musée d'Orsay, they are well- known museums in Paris. I looked forward to paying there a visit all the time when I was in Paris. There are some famous paintings, such as The Mona Lisa, The Gleaners that I only had ever seen in the books formerly. In addition, each parts of Paris’s scenery, buildings is beautiful as though I was in an amazing dream.

One of my aunt’s friends invited us to visit her in Normandy. Hence, I had an opportunity to live in the French’s home. She was very kind and hospitable. She made French bread by herself and prepared many kinds of cheeses for us to taste. It was a novel and special experience for me in France.

Until now, I still keep the details of journey in mind and I will remember it for good. It is worth traveling to France this time. I am of the opinion that it is the most unforgettable event in my life.

The labor education is a course that will be taken for freshmen. Although it is zero credit, it is a required course for freshmen. When I started my first semester in the college, I heard we have to take the labor education. A thought came into my mind at that time: why do we have to clean out the campus? I assumed that college is different from before and we don’t need to clean the campus anymore. However, maybe I mistake. We have three different parts of labor education in one semester and every part is for a period of six weeks. In the beginning, I didn't like it because I am lazy to do that. I swept outdoor area at noon. There were four people to sweep there together. There was much sun and so hot. The area was not only far but also big of range. It was troublesome. What's more, I had to get up to clean the campus in the morning. I often didn't get up on time, not to mention in the winter. It is annoying. However, I am used to labor education and adapt to it now. The labor education remains last part to clean the campus. As the labor education will end this semester also will be over. It is a experience for freshmen.

Most people are fond of taking pictures. Some of them just want to retain every wonderful moment of life. The saying goes: The camera never lies. As far as I am concerned, I think there are two different aspects. On one hand, sometimes people don't like the appearance of themselves in the pictures. In order to avoid showing defects on pictures, some people alter the photos to get better. For example, the stars’ pictures always wonderfully show on the magazines. However, the gossip magazine exposes that their face are with wrinkle or they get fat after they are snapped the photos. On the other hand, the photo is true when you record everything of daily life. Although the photos may fade after you have retained them for a long time, they still hold those good memories for us. As the time passes quickly, the length of memory have limit. The pictures can tell lies, but the memory in the pictures can't change.
